Only 6 weeks separates us from the 3rd version of Suave Fest, the first craft beer festival to celebrate Latinx-owned breweries from around the US. Tickets are still available at presale prices, but will increase on September 1st, which is only 13 days away.
CULTURA, the nonprofit organization spearheading the festival in partnership with Raices Brewing Co, announced this week that it will have the largest participation since the beginning of the festival. A total of 18 Latinx-owned breweries (10 from CO and others from TX, MA, MI, OH, OR, and PR) will make up the start studded lineup of participants this year. In previous years, Suave Fest has only had 1 participating brewery from outside of Colorado and a maximum of 13 breweries participating at once.
"We were able to accomplish this thanks to partnerships with amazing local Colorado breweries", said Tamil Maldonado, Executive Director of Cultura. She added "additional to the 18 participants, 8 Colorado breweries contributed towards the success of this year's Suave Fest, which in turn helps towards our goal of helping diversify the beer industry".
Suave Fest attendees can expect to enjoy 6 hours of LIVE stage entertainment, unlimited samples of beers from various Latinx-owned breweries, a FREE branded sampler glass, access to merchandise from various onsite vendors, wine, spirits, gluten-free and non-alcoholic choices, a variety of Latin American and Caribbean cuisine vendors, deserts, and other goodies, and an after party at Raices Brewing Co adjacent to the festival grounds.
