Suave Fest is the first craft beer festival in the country celebrating Latino craft breweries, brewers, beers community, and culture. This second will be our second year celebrating with a wide variety of craft beers will be featured from several Latino-owned craft breweries from around Colorado. Additionally, Latin American and Caribbean cuisine from a diversity of vendors will be available onsite, as well as spectacular musical performances from top Latino artists and groups from the Centennial state.

Our Goals

There are over 8,884 craft breweries in the U.S., according to 2020 numbers from the Brewer’s Association. According to Nielsen, Latinos make up to 21% of the craft beer consumer market, yet research shows that Latinos are less than 0.5% owners. Inspired by this, we created an event that highlights the underrepresented talent and the contributions of Latinos in the craft beer industry

Some of our goals at Suave Fest:

To highlight Latino Owned Breweries that can be supported by our communities.
To bring awareness of the need for diversification and accessibility in the craft beer industry. Less than 0.6 % of all U.S. breweries are Latino Owned. However, a disparity exists between ownership and consumption, where consumption for Latinos is nearly 31%.
To create a pipeline in the industry and provide resources for interested individuals in the industry, in entrepreneurship and event coordination and management.
To think forward on culture and how cultural identity is key for the esteem of Latinos, and a vehicle for Non-Latinos to coincide, promoting unity beyond cultures.
To be a platform for gastronomy, artistry, and Latino organizations’ visibility.
